Saw this spot yesterday watching football. Brutally honest stuff. Really effective and memorable. Thumbs up all around.

The Silent Evolution is an incredible, one of its kind underwater art installation that involves 400 life-size human sculptures installed 9 meters below sea level off the coast of the Isla Mujeres in Mexico. Created by British artist Jason deCaires Taylor, the sculptures are made from materials that will draw sea creatures towards it and eventually form a coral reef.

So here’s the new Nike spot with Lebron addressing “The Decision.” Everyone else is talking about it so here’s my two pence. I’d like to preface by saying, I hate Lebron as a celebrity, but I do think he’s obviously an amazing athlete. So the spot basically says “I did what I felt was right, and I don’t care what you think.” Well I respect the hell out of that, problem is, it’s not true. It’s been very obvious Lebron does care what people think. This is a very familiar situation (see Tiger Woods ad post sex scandal). I realize Nike feels like they need to address it, but I really don’t think they did it that well. Although I will say the writing in the ad is really good.

Here it is, the Adobe Museum of Digital Media, the world’s first virtual art museum dedicated to digital art & innovation. The brain child of Goodby, Silverstein & Partners and produced along with Unit9, with the direction of digital architect Filippo Innocenti, the Adobe Museum Of Digital Media went live last week with it’s first piece called “Valley” by American artist Tom Oursler. The vision is to fill the museum with custom pieces of interactive art from around the world. The first being a very interesting piece indeed Here is the “Making Of” video from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners to get some perspective on the whole project. The end is a little corny, but the concept trumps it all. Enjoy and check out the museum here.

So I don’t know the name of this song, but it’s really good. Brett Dennens side project is called Apples and Lemons (clever name). He’s also working on a new album called “Loverboy” that I’m pumped for. Easily my favorite ginger.
